The William Bartram Scenic and Historic Highway is developing a Corridor Master Plan for the SR 13 corridor from the Julington Creek Bridge (St. Johns/Duval County Line) south to the SR 13/SR 16 intersection.  The master plan will focus on recreation and open space improvements, signage and wayfinding, land development, and related transportation improvements. Specifically, the master plan will address the following improvements:

Park improvements for the following locations:
• Shands Pier
• Beluthahatchee Park
• Alpine Groves Community Park
• Bartram Trails Library
• Trout Creek Park

Conceptual architecture for a visitor center/interpretive museum along the highway

Signage and Wayfinding including:
• Gateway Features
• Directional Signs
• Interpretive Signs
• Corridor Logo Design

Transportation improvements including:
• Traffic Safety Measures
• Pedestrian and Bicycling Improvements
