Glatting Jackson is dedicated to the professional development of students in the areas in which we practice. We offer paid internships to students who become active members of our project teams. It is our commitment to expose our interns to a wide variety of project experiences so they gain new understanding and an added perspective of the full range of issues surrounding their course of study. Although many of our interns traditionally work during the summer months, we are also supportive of longer-term arrangements.
Intern Opportunities
Each year during the months of February and March, we focus our efforts on hiring interns for the summer.
The Glatting Jackson intern program is a flexible program designed to provide students with a positive work experience in a private consulting firm. Working with interns also helps us get to know the best students who we hope will become our best employees in the future years. Interns have the opportunity to work individually and on teams. There are also opportunities to meet with public and private clients, work with recent graduates to seasoned veterans, and participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to solving real problems.
At the beginning of your internship you will be assigned to a service group who will help you develop a specific program comprising your day-to-day activities. You will keep a record of your time, like our full time employees, and we will bill our clients for the services you perform on their projects. Your service group will help you understand how your success in achieving your billable goal is integral to the financial success of our business. In addition technical issues and approach for projects, you will learn about project management including teaming, contracts, QA/QC, peer review, billing and collections.
